Overview
The home lab is the foundation beneath most of my infrastructure projects. It gives me a safe place to build, break, observe, document, and rebuild systems that behave like real production environments.

How it is structured
The environment combines clustered compute, segmented networks, internal DNS, firewall policy, monitoring, and services that can move and evolve as the lab grows.
What comes next
The next phase is deeper automation, more intentional failure testing, better documentation, and dashboards that make the state of the environment understandable at a glance.
